If you bought a vehicle without arranging a pre-purchase inspection, it is not too late to gain a clearer understanding of its condition.
NexGen Auto-Serve provides post-purchase inspections nationwide for vehicles purchased within the last 30 days. The service can provide reassurance, highlight future maintenance requirements or document concerns that have arisen since the purchase.
If the vehicle is in good condition, the report can provide valuable reassurance while helping you plan for future servicing and maintenance. If we identify any faults or concerns, we will clearly explain what has been found, how significant each issue appears to be and whether further diagnostic or specialist investigation is recommended. The report will also highlight anything requiring immediate attention and outline potential costs that may arise in the future.

A post-purchase inspection is designed to help establish the condition of the vehicle at the time we examine it.
It may be suitable if:
You bought the vehicle without an independent inspection
You are concerned about a noise, warning light or driving issue
The vehicle does not appear to match its description
You want to understand upcoming maintenance costs
Problems arose shortly after collection or delivery
You believe the vehicle may have been unsuitable for sale
You need documented evidence of its current condition
The vehicle is assessed inside, outside, underneath and under the bonnet. Depending on access, the inspection can include:
Bodywork and interior condition
Under-bonnet and underside checks
Tyre and brake measurements
Mechanical and electronic checks
Photographic and video evidence
A detailed PDF condition report
Estimated future maintenance costs
We will clearly explain our findings and any areas we could not fully assess.
If you believe a recently purchased vehicle may not have been fit to be sold, we can carry out an inspection and prepare a vehicle rejection report documenting the condition and evidence available to us.
The report records technical findings from the inspection. It does not replace independent legal advice or guarantee that a seller will accept a rejection.
Where a dispute is developing, you may also wish to obtain advice from an appropriate consumer or legal professional.
Contact us as soon as possible if you have concerns about a vehicle purchased within the last 30 days. Send us the registration, purchase date, seller details and a summary of the issues you have experienced.
